Editorial Policy and Governance

Editorial Process:
I Boost Immunity is dedicated to bringing accurate and accessible information on vaccines and vaccine safety. Our team consists of researchers, marketers, content creators, and healthcare professionals. Content is created and reviewed based on the credibility of the original sources and the objectivity of the findings.

All content on the site containing clinical information is read and signed off by a minimum of two people consisting of 1) A staff member from the BC Centre for Disease Control or the Public Health Association of British Columbia, and 2) An experienced clinician with relevant expertise (e.g. registered nurse, physician, professor).

Please note that content on I Boost Immunity should not be used as a replacement for medical advice from a healthcare professional – we encourage you to speak to your local healthcare professionals.

Governance:
We are managed by the Public Health Association of British Columbia (PHABC), the BC Centre for Disease Control and funded by the BC Ministry of Health.
Corporate partners also help fund the vaccines earned by our visitors. Learn more about our partners on the sponsors page.

I Boost Immunity is partnered with ImmunizeBC - a collaboration between the BC Ministry of Health, BC Centre for Disease Control, Provincial Health Services Authority, regional health authorities (Northern Health,  Island Health,  Fraser Health,  Interior Health, Vancouver Coastal Health), First Nations Health Authority and the BC Pharmacy Association.
